Hi everyone,<\/p>\n

Over the past few days I attended this conference,<\/p>\n

https:\/\/historicalnetworkresearch.github.io\/turin\/program\/<\/a><\/p>\n

held at the University of Turin.<\/p>\n

This is the abstract of the paper 6-B_donato_nomismata<\/a> we presented together with\u00a0Pim van Bree<\/b><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Geert Kessels<\/b><\/span>, the creators of\u00a0NODEGOAT<\/b><\/span>, the software platform on which I built\u00a0NOMISMATA<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n

It was a very interesting and well-attended conference, focused on the application of\u00a0Social Network Analysis (SNA)<\/b><\/span>\u00a0to the study of historical phenomena.<\/p>\n

I think our presentation was very well received. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to introduce our project to an international audience of historians and archaeologists. I also made a few new contacts.<\/p>\n

As we say in Italian,\u00a0\u201cif they\u2019re roses, they\u2019ll bloom\u201d<\/i><\/span>\u2014in other words, we\u2019ll see where these new connections lead.<\/p>\n
